FIELD: data input devices. SUBSTANCE: keyboard has case, panel, and control console. Case accommodates printed-circuit board with fixed-contact matrix, control-console rod, movable contact, movable support rigidly fixed to control-console rod and movable contact, movable- support guides. Control console is made in the form of rod with head carrying matrices of introduced characters; cut is made in each guide of movable support its shape following that of fixed-contact matrix. Movable support is mounted for displacement in its guides. According to first option, movable contact is made in the form of movable electric contact and fixed-contact matrix, in the form of matrix of fixed photodiodes. According to second option, movable contact is made in the form of movable light source and fixed-contact matrix, in the form of matrix of fixed photodiodes. Movable light source and fixed photodiodes are optically and electrically connected to control circuits. EFFECT: improved design. 31 cl, 2 dwg
