FIELD: transport engineering; electrical equipment of automobiles. SUBSTANCE: the following devices are introduced additionally into voltage regulator: two hermetically sealed reed relays and capacitor, trimming resistors, reed relay control and cutout windings with corresponding connection to storages battery, ignition switch, voltage regulator and synchronous generator and its field winding. As a result, voltage in automobile circuit is maintained at required level automatically in case of failure of standard voltage regulator. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 1 dwg
