ELECTRIC SWITCH FOR PASSENGER CARS AND TRUCKS Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: automotive industry vehicle electrical equipment. SUBSTANCE: vehicle battery switch is provided with contact ring with screws and springs, core, coil with control winding, mercury change-over sealed contact and toggle switch to control electrical equipment switch. Contact ring is connected to dielectric pusher through screws at side of lower plane and is loaded by springs. Core is turned in center of pusher disk from side of upper plane. Free portion of core is arranged inside coil with winding. One of winding leads is connected with outer end of corner contact member coupled with negative pole of storage battery, and other lead is connected through contact of hermetically sealed contact and control toggle switch with positive pole of storage battery. In case of turning over of vehicle, battery is switched off from electric circuit owing to opening of hermetically sealed contact. EFFECT: improved safety in case of road accident. 1 dwg
