MANURE SWEEPER Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture, in particular, equipment for sweeping and removing manure from animal houses. SUBSTANCE: manure sweeper has horizontal scraper conveyor positioned in manure trough disposed at the level below floor, manure receiver, inclined scraper conveyor and independent drives for horizontal and inclined scraper conveyors. Horizontal conveyor has grips with length exceeding that of scrapers and positioned above them at an acute angles to longitudinal axis of horizontal conveyor in the course of conveyor's chain so that gripping angle may be adjusted. Base of each grip is connected to base of related scraper by means of at least three openings, with two openings being aligned with replaceable bolts of scraper base and fixed by them. Third opening may be aligned with one of scraper base bolts. Free end of grip has telescopic extension provided with retainer. Grips are connected to scrapers at intervals within which 4-5 scrapers are arranged. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 cl, 2 dwg
