FIELD: gas cleaning; cleaning atmospheric air before admitting it to compressors of gas-turbine engines to protect its blades from abrasive wear and outlet components from ice. SUBSTANCE: battery cyclone has air intake chambers arranged in tiers, precipitation-trapping lips, cyclone parts, clean gas outlet manifolds, tier dust collectors, and air heating system with hot-gas outlets brought to air intake chambers. Air heating system has pipeline arranged at side flanges of precipitation-trapping lips; gas outlets are placed away from pipeline and terminate in manifolds one of whose walls is formed by lip flanges. Manifolds are provided with hot gas guiding slits whose space crosses atmospheric-air inlet zone. EFFECT: improved reliability of preventing ice formation on surfaces of battery cyclone due to uniform heating of admitted atmospheric air. 2 dwg
