FIELD: cleaning of air sucked from atmosphere and preparing it for supplying to gas turbine engine compressors. SUBSTANCE: cyclone has air intake chambers positioned in stages, sediment retention shields, cyclone members, clean gas discharge collectors, stage dust catchers, air heating system with hot gas ducts connected to air intake chambers, and pipeline disposed at side adjacent air intake chamber rear walls. Gas ducts are extending from pipeline and terminate in collectors, whose one wall is defined by air intake chamber rear wall. This wall is provided with hot gas guiding slit disposed in plane extending in parallel with plane of atmospheric air inlets of cyclone members. Such construction allows blade system of gas turbine engine compressors to be protected from wearing and battery-type cyclone and pipeline surfaces to be prevented from formation of ice due to uniform heating of sucked atmospheric air. Besides, dust catchers are not injured by hot air and sucked air is not further saturated with moisture. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 dwg
