FIELD: electrical engineering; organizing fiber-optic transmission systems by using overhead power transmission and communication lines. SUBSTANCE: method involves suspension of reel-out blocks 2 from overhead line supports 1 together with auxiliary wire 3, connection of optic cable 4 being mounted to auxiliary wire 3, and reeling-out of optic cable 4 over reel-out blocks 2; auxiliary wire 3 is made in the form of loop placed on remote-communication section being installed; ends of loop are arranged on side of reeling-out of completed length of optic cable 4. Loop turn is provided on reel-out block 2 of turn support 1. EFFECT: facilitated procedure, improved efficiency, and reduced cost for installation of optic cable, especially in difficult-to-get-at places. 1 dwg
