FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high- performance high-vacuum evacuation with limiting pressure below 1•10-10 Pa. Nonevaporable strip getter is manufactured from powder alloy containing 15-40% chromium, 0.01-0.5% calcium, and titanium (the balance). Porosity of the getter ranges from 20 to 60%. It can be shaped in the form of spiral. Powder alloy is rolled into strip and sintered. Loose density of powder alloy is 0.8 to 1.6 g/cu.cm.
