FIELD: handling electric circuits in automatic-control systems of elevators. SUBSTANCE: switching device has control reed-relay contact connected in series with input of solid-state relay (optocoupler) whose outputs function as switching contacts for external circuits. High-current output circuits can be handled by switching device in response to weak input signal. Low-power switches, such as reed relays may be used as control contacts.
