FIELD: mechanical engineering; automatic control systems of lifting-and-transportation mechanisms; controls for electric and hydraulic lifts. SUBSTANCE: system has load-bearing member position pickups, direction control relays, relay interlocks and control pushbuttons. Each of above - indicated pickups is provided with series-connected switching elements in form of hermetically sealed reed relays arranged along trajectory of movement of load- bearing member. Control pushbuttons are coupled with common terminals of contacts of corresponding pickups. Direction control relays and their interlocks are made in form of solid-state optoelectronic relays. Control pushbuttons are made in form of switches with control hermetically sealed reed relays and solid-state optoelectronic relays. EFFECT: improved convenience of operation owing to provision of automatic return of load bearing member into zone of stop. 5 cl, 4 dwg
