GRIP-TIPPER FOR CYLINDRICAL LOADS WITH CENTRAL HOLE Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: grip- tipper has housing with L-shaped and inverted L-shaped frames. Inner vertical part of L-shaped frame is provided with alternating projections and cavities with bearings fitted on projections. Shaft is mounted in bearings. Lower end face of shaft rests on step of step bearing arranged on horizontal section of L-shaped frame. Socket is made in lower part on end face at side of inverted L-shaped frame to receive tooth of gripping pawl. Movable clamp is made in form of disk-cam in form of polyhedron in cross section, surfaces of disk-cam being contact sections at engagement with load surface. Disks-cams are rigidly mounted on above- indicated shaft. Drive shaft fitted in bushing is arranged on horizontal section of inverted L-shaped frame. Holes playing the part of locking slots are spaced over diameter of hole in this part of drive shaft. EFFECT: reduced mass, increased rigidity and durability. 4 dwg
