FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: enamel for primer-free coating is intended for making enamel coatings, more particularly for protection of metallic surfaces from corrosion while manufacturing various products operating in aggressive media. Enamel slip comprises chemically resistant frit, clay, electrolyte, quartz-feldspar stock which contains alkali metal oxides and water, ratio of components being as follows (wt %):100 frit; 4-6 clay; 0.2-1.5 electrolyte; 5-30 quartz-feldspar stock, and 40-50 water. In order to prepare slip frits are used which contain no fluorine and compounds thereof. EFFECT: good spreadability of slip over surface, improved adhesion power of slip compound, wider roasting range of coating, uniform formation of quality enamel layer, removed internal stresses, higher heat resistance and greater mechanical strength of the coating. 4 cl, 5 tbl
