FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in underground mining of minerals. Section of unrelieving support has elastic load-bearing member provided with strong mechanical shell which is filled with working medium containing gas. Also provided are following components: driving unit connected with mechanical shell and having row of rigid rollers, endless driving band, and supporting device which is installed at work face side and made in the form of holder with rigid rollers rolling down over their endless band. Elastic load-bearing member is made in the form of ball or cylinder, and its mechanical shell in addition to gas is filled with liquid. Driving unit is provided with frame, and installed on frame are movable rollers which are embraced by endless band brought in motion by driving unit. Driving unit is positioned between roof and floor and is resting by rollers through band on elastic shell of load-bearing member. Pivotally fastened on frame of driving unit are guarding members located at filling side and work-face side of drift. Guarding members are made in the form of holders with rollers which are resting on elastic shell of load-bearing member. Driving unit can be made in the form of two reversible hydraulic drum-type motors which are installed on frame in parallel to rollers and connected by two lines of endless driving band. Driving unit can be installed so as to rest on upper surface or lower surface of elastic shell of load-bearing member. Aforesaid embodiment simplifies design, improves reliability and maneuverability of mine support. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 cl, 3 dwg
