FIELD: instrumentation. SUBSTANCE: device includes cylindrical case with handle, spring and rest to bring catch of armed block head out of engagement. Barrel with L-shaped arming lever, block head, arming pin, ball indenter, working spring and catch fixing block head in armed position are mounted in case coaxially. Handle is fitted with electron unit set in action by mobile element of movement transducer connected by tie-rod via pin to mobile direction control unit of test strike including supporting bars put on spring- loaded bushing. Invention provides for possibility of determination of strength characteristics of construction materials and structures with various relief of surface, for increased accuracy of test, for simplification of design and prolonged service life of device.
