FIELD: equipment for payment using debit plastic cards. SUBSTANCE: device has inner assembly which has card receiver, electronic circuit for measuring and analysis of card assets, mechanism for destruction of card assets, electronic circuit for processing of commands by actuating mechanism for payment. In addition device has external member which is designed as paper or film-polymer card which has at least one film resistive members which are card asset carriers during payment operation. Device may be used preferably for public payment telephones and other automatic service equipment. Service is provided if card with available asset is inserted into device, characteristics of film resistive member are in range of tolerance, card is not moved during asset destruction, surface of card has no additional resistive members, i.e. it is not faked. Said conditions are provided by card receiving unit which has four-probe contact system. Film resistive members are made from composite materials which provide stable resistance after staged thermal processing. EFFECT: increased precision of card measurement, increased reliability. 4 dwg
