FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed system and method relate to control of gearshifting in gearbox in which gearshift drive develops force for engagement of clutch and gear. Method includes stage of determining incomplete engagement of clutch and gear and stage of forming pulsating force by means of gearshift drive. Incomplete engagement is determined by relatively little effort or relatively heavy effort required for bringing clutch and gear from incomplete engagement state. System implementing the method is essentially automated mechanical gearbox with sliding clutches for connecting gearbox gears with shaft, gearshift force control mechanism, device to determine axial position of above indicated clutches and electronic control unit.
