FIELD: railway transport; mechanization of loading and unloading operations. SUBSTANCE: device has portal carrying lifting frame with mounted drills-cutters with augers, cutting tools and drive, and cable-and-sheave system of mechanism providing lifting and lowering of lifting frame. Cam mechanism is installed on cable-and-sheave system section between lifting and lowering mechanism and portal. Cam mechanism has frame on which cam shaft with drive, pusher with guide rollers and tension sheaves are mounted which act onto cable passed through two support blocks to provide reciprocating movement of lifting frame with drills - cutters at the following ratio of parameters of cam mechanism and cutters: t/S = 2, nd-c/nc= 2, ϕup= ϕl= ϕlift= ϕlow= π/2,, where t is pitch of cutting tools on drill-cutter axle; S is reciprocating travel of lifting frame with drills-cutters; nd-c и nc are rotational speed of drill-cutter and cam shaft, respectively; ϕap, ϕl, ϕlift, ϕlow - are phase of upper and lower dead points, lifting and lowering of cam mechanism, respectively.
