FIELD: railway construction technology. SUBSTANCE: release unit of railway track switch has sprung seating with rolling friction and is made up of main body 4 which is provided with hook 41, side walls 42, longitudinal end wall 43 with hole 44 in end face and with hole 46. Clamp 6 is secured in end face hole 44. Resilient support is screwed in lower hole 46. Free end of rocking lever 5 is resting on other support 8 and is installed longitudinally between side walls 42 through journal 9. Rocking lever 5 has two rollers 10, 101 which are seated on journals 11. First roller 10 is located above resilient support 8. Second roller 101 is located between journal 9 and first roller 10. At same time, axial distance between rollers 10 and 101 is less than width of base 14. Distance between internal face 16 of base 14 and surface of second roller 101 in condition when railway track switch is located on frame rail is within limits of 0 to 50 mm and preferably is between 1 and 5 mm. Aforesaid embodiment of release unit is aimed at reducing loads on its components. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 2 dwg
