FIELD: tractive electric motors in manufacture of locomotives. SUBSTANCE: motor axial bearing has two shells consisting of two layers: supporting layer and working load-bearing layer. Supporting layer is made from steel and working load-bearing layer is made from brass. Inner surface of supporting layer of second shell has radial sector bores which are used as reservoirs for lubricant. Working load-bearing layer has through holes for fluoroplastic pellets with holes in center at points where reservoirs for lubricant are located. Braids with heat removal elements are inserted in lubricant reservoirs. EFFECT: increased service life and enhanced efficiency of delivery of lubricant to friction zone. 2 cl, 2 dwg
