FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: motor-axial sliding bearings of a locomotive traction motor. The motor-axial sliding bearing contains two liners, one of which is made with a window. Each liner consists of a liner support layer and a liner bearing layer with antifriction properties located on its surface. The liner bearing layer is made of carbon fibre with an outer fibreglass sublayer and a system of fluoroplastic self-lubricating elements moulded flush with it, uniformly covering the entire friction surface of the liner. The liner bearing layer is glued into the liner supporting layer with the layers spaced apart so that part of the supporting layer of one liner rests on the supporting layer of the other liner with the cross-sections of the liner supporting layers overlapping. The outer surface of the liner bearing layers is made with a conical section in the longitudinal plane of the bearing with the apex in the middle part of the liner.
EFFECT: increased in bearing life is achieved.
