DEVICE INTERPOLATING HORIZONTALS Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: geodesy. SUBSTANCE: device is designed to interpolate horizontals on topographic plan. It has case with directing slit that houses unit changing distance between indicators of horizontals linked to handle. Indicators of horizontals are anchored on carriages for movement along thread. Unit changing distance between horizontals has two pairs of carriages of cylindrical shape arranged coaxially and one guide with groove and screw male thread. Indicators of horizontals are fabricated in the form of dividing indices which are made fast on some carriages and are fixed with the use of bearings on other carriages. Keys are mounted for sliding in groove of guide on carriages of second pair. EFFECT: simplified design, diminished dimensions and mass of device. 1 dwg
