FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to operation of oil and gas wells. Tubular head is made up of body with radial passages and stepped axial passage and with side branching lines. Seated in body is pipe holder for suspension of lifting pipe string. Pipe holder has external circular protrusion, axial slot, shaped grooves in external surface and also two radial passages. Installed in pipe holder are seats and ball-type shut-off member. Located externally and concentrically as to pipe holder is bush with circular sealing members and with two radial passages. Concentric bush interacts with circular protrusion of pipe holder and also with stepped axial passage in body. Pipe holder is secured in body by means of locking bolts. Control unit of ball-type shut-off member is made in the form of turning shaft. Installed in lower part of body are pins which can interact with shaped grooves of pipe holder. Made in shut-off member are axial through-passage and blind axial passage. Axes of these passages and axis of turning shaft are interperpendicular. Body, bush and pipe holder are arranged relative to each other so that their radial passages for location of turning shaft are coaxial. Axis of upper side branching line coincides with axes of corresponding radial passages of bush and pipe holder. Aforesaid axes and axes of passages in shut-off member are located in one common plane. Lower side branching line coincides with axial slot of pipe holder. Made on external side surface of body are faces. Planes of these side faces are perpendicular to axes of body side branching lines and its radial passage for location of turning shaft. Installed on body is intermediate connecting flange for location of upper part of pipe holder. Body is located on head of pipe string. Lifting pipe string is lowered into well through axial passage in body. Pipe holder is installed inside body. Pins enter shaped grooves to orient pipe holder relative to body. Sealing members of bush are used to seal-off hermetically the space between pipe holder and body. Installed on top of body is adapter flange, and connected to shut-off member is turning shaft. Located in side branching lines and on adapter flange are gate valves. Christmas tree is embraced by manifold and after that, Christmas tree is ready for operation. Application of aforesaid embodiment improves reliability in operation of tubular head, widens its technological potentialities together with substantial reduction of height of Christmas tree setup.
