FIELD: mechanical engineering; transmission of rotation in different machines and mechanisms. SUBSTANCE: rotation transmitting device has shafts connected by splined joint and connected by clutches with driving and driven units. Guard case with sealing arrangement is secured on one of shafts. Guard case is provided with projection at side of sealing arrangement to engage with projection made on splined end of other shaft. Projection of case can be formed by shoulder of nut turned onto projection. Clutch has two clutch members with connecting members in between. Clutch is furnished with device for limiting relative displacement of shaft and one of clutch members and member intercoupling these members. Strength of displacement limiting device is less than strength of clutch coupling members. Member connecting shaft and clutch member is made in form of one rod passed through holes made in shaft and clutch member. EFFECT: prevention of disconnection of splined shafts in operation, reduced traumatism of attending personnel. 8 cl, 3 dwg
