FIELD: linearly polarized antennas operating in two ranges having frequency ratio about 2. SUBSTANCE: antenna is, built up of nonsplit printed-circuit dipole on one side of insulating sheet, as well as parallel open-circuit stub on half the length and additional perpendicular stubs (the latter may be absent) on other side of sheet; inner and outer conductors of coaxial cable may be connected to dipole or to stubs. For unidirectional radiation in two ranges, dipole is placed above screen at height not to exceed 0.25 of average length of first range. For shifting frequency band towards higher frequencies, passive dipole of smaller length electromagnetically coupled with main dipole is placed in parallel with the latter. Optional design is non-printed antenna using nonsplit dipole and matching-balancing open stub parallel to dipole as well as matching conductor perpendicular to both. Inner and outer conductors of coaxial waveguide may be connected to nonsplit dipole or to stub. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 6 dwg
