FIELD: electromechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: electrical- machine shaft 8 mounts commutator whose plastic can 7 accommodates segments 1; placed between each segment 1 and metal plate 6 is flat stack 5 made of two parallel folded metal-foil strips 2 and 3 separated by insulation 4 possessing high dielectric constant; all of them are stacked in corrugated manner so that one metal-foil strip 2 contacts with its non-insulated surface the side surface of segment 1 and other strip 3 contacts with its non-insulated surface metal plate 6; width of flat stack 5 equals length of segment 1. Capacitance formed between each segment 1 and grounded shaft 8 is equally distributed over commutator which facilitates operation of trailing edge of brush contact thereby reducing arcing and electromagnetic radiation energy. EFFECT: reduced radio noise and arcing, improved electromagnetic compatibility of machine with miscellaneous radio electronic systems. 3 cl, 2 dwg
