SHELF-SHOWCASE Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: production of special furniture. SUBSTANCE: shelf-showcase has base and vertical glass panels connected one with another by fixation to define rear mirror wall, side toned glass walls and face walls. Horizontal glass strips made from toned glass are positioned between walls for dividing shelf inner space into display sections. Shelf is provided with retaining members formed as cast plastic prisms for connecting glasses of vertical panels and horizontal glass strips. Retaining members are mounted in joining units at rear and face sides of shelf and are adapted for joining at least six vertical and two horizontal glasses. Shelf-showcase has three sections (one central and two peripheral sections), whose display departments are offset one relative to another in horizontal plane at face side. Horizontal strips at both levels of mid portion of central section are made in the form of polygon, whose rear and side faces are connected by means of rear and side faces of horizontal strips of adjacent display sections. Display sections disposed in mid portion of central section at face side are covered with vertical glasses fixed in retaining members positioned on front faces of multiple-sided horizontal glass strips. Lower part of vertical glass covering lower display department of central section is secured in retaining member mounted on front face of horizontal strip disposed on shelf base. Display sections of peripheral sections covered with vertical glasses are made similar to lower display department of central section and are disposed at respective sides opposed to central section. Display sections are made in the form of columns. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities and simplified construction. 7 cl, 22 dwg
