FIELD: plastic working of metals. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming blank contours in two stages, with basic material effectively cut; at the first stage, separating blank from basic material along preliminarily made contour; at the second stage, shifting separate portions of obtained contour by local reducing of material thickness in adjoining zones to form final contour of billet.
