FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: spring-operated sleeve is intended for use with rolling-up curtains and other articles which can be rolled up. Sleeve is designed so as to reduce effort required for lifting-up of curtain. Lowering of curtain in given case is accompanied with normal turning of sleeve which leads to slipping of sleeve. Sleeve can be easily adjusted for operation with existing type of curtains. Slipping does not impair functioning of sleeve, and there is no need of slipping for purpose of self-protection. Slipping is actually inherent property of performance. Device reveals its superb performance characteristics. Sleeve can be made only of two components and due to this fact it is substantially cheaper. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 15 cl, 9 dwg
