RESPIRATOR SEMIMASK MANUFACTURE METHOD Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: devices for individual protection of user's breathing organs from hazardous substances, such as gases, vapors and aerosols. SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting out respirator semimask from flat blank, made from filtering, absorptive and constructional materials, with semimask shape being substantially elliptical, ratio of semiaxes basic sizes being within the range of 1:0.8-0.9 and large semiaxes size exceeding small semiaxes size by 0.18-0.23 of basic size; folding blank in two and deforming to impart three-dimensional shape; forming inner creases at an angle of 44-58 deg relative to larger axis and fixing them along obturation line. Method allows multilayer filtering respirator semimask to be produced. EFFECT: simplified method, increased convenience in operation and reliable protection of breathing organs. 2 dwg
