FIELD: electric measurements, specifically, measurement of heavy direct currents in chemical and metallurgical industries. SUBSTANCE: measurement elements are arranged in agreement with method along circumference around bus duct. While computing magnetic induction at point of installation of measurement element it is suggested that real bus duct should be replaced with line conductor which section is contracted to dot. Number of elements is even but not multiple of four. EFFECT: decreased labor input into computations while conducting graduation of meters of heavy currents, increased accuracy and versatility of method. 2 cl, 4 dwg
