FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: transformer substation has service-entrance insulators, leads, power transformer, overvoltage limiters and lowest voltage device. Substation is equipped with current- carrying brackets mounted on leads. Overvoltage limiters are connected to brackets mechanically and electrically by means of contact leads. Leads are anchored mechanically and electrically on mentioned brackets and can be connected with their ends to substation equipment: to bushing insulators in substations of cabinet type or to safety devices in substations of mast ( post ) type. EFFECT: simplified design and reduced usage of ferrous and nonferrous metals, enhanced reliability of substation. 2 cl, 5 dwg
