FIELD: transceivers handling noise-like signals. SUBSTANCE: digital phase modulator forms three-level phase variation mechanism where two sections of phase increase by π alternate with two similar sections of phase decrease. Modulator has two series-connected linear phase modulators first on them receiving nonmodulated high-frequency signal applied to its input, two modulator drivers connected to respective second inputs of linear phase modulators, first and second JK flip-flops. Noise-like signal arrives directly at input C of first JK flip-flop and through NOT gate at input C of second JK flip-flop. Output of first JK flip-flop is connected through first low-frequency filter to input of first modulator driver and that of second JK flip-flop is connected through second low-frequency filter to input of second modulator driver. Modulator provides for suppressing digital components of output-signal spectrum spaced n/τ from carrier frequency f0. EFFECT: improved reliability of digital-component suppression in output signal spectrum. 3 dwg
