FIELD: radio engineering; automatic power control incorporating provision for overload protection. SUBSTANCE: device has series-connected power amplifier, matching unit, and load in the form of antenna, output-power sensor connected to second input of second comparison unit and to first input of first comparison unit whose output is connected to input of analog switch; output of the latter is connected to first input of adder and control input, to output of second comparison unit. Power sensor of power amplifier is connected to first input of second comparison unit whose output is connected through threshold element to first input of adder. Output of the latter is connected through adjustable voltage regulator to control input of transistorized radio transmitter whose respective test outputs are connected to inputs of output power sensor and power sensor of power amplifier. Second input of adder is connected to first output of reference- voltage source whose second output is connected to second input of first comparison unit. EFFECT: enlarged control capabilities and improved reliability of transistorized radio transmitter. 1 dwg
