FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: threshing unit, which may be used as fodder transportation and grinding member, has conical drum with entrance part, whips, helical rods and cutters mounted on large base of drum, grid-type housing which may be adjusted for altering threshing gap and reciprocating radial knife mounted on housing. Housing is provided with shear plates. Drum is made from truncated cones interconnected with their large and small bases, with first cone having larger angle of taper than second cone. Cutters are fixed at side adjacent to larger base of second cone. Drum and housing have cylindrical parts, each connected with large base of related second cone. Cutters are fastened on cylindrical part and arranged in several rows. EFFECT: increased efficiency in threshing grain mass and wider operational capabilities. 5 cl, 3 dwg
