FIELD: ophthalmology; may be used in treatment of intravitreous hemorrhages in vitreoctomy. SUBSTANCE: method includes introduction of perfluoroorganic compound during intravitreous hemorrhages into hollow of vitreous body in the amount equalling 2/3 volume of vitreous body. Displaced blood is removed from the surface of perfluoroorganic compound and then the latter is removed. EFFECT: reduced injury.
