FIELD: heat insulation of wood structures in case of fire. SUBSTANCE: claimed composition comprises (wt %): 3.4-7.9 water soluble urea-formaldehyde or urea- melaminofomaldehyde or carbamidoformaldehyde resin (in terms of dry residue); 10.5-26.0 ammophos or ammonium polyphosphate; 4.8-12.0 pentaerythrite or pentrol; 1.7- 4.0 kaolin; 1.7-4.0 n-tert-butylphenol-formaldehyde resin; 1.8-6.1 melamine cyanurate or dicyanodiamide; 5.0- 10.0 ammonium fluoride or ammonium tetrafluoroborate, or mixture of ammonium fluoride with ammonium bifluoride (in 1:1 to 1:2.5 ratio); and the water balance. The claimed composition further comprises 2.0-4.0 wt % asbestos fiber. Properties of the claimed composition: consumption rate is 150-300 g/sq. m; weight loss of specimen according to GOST 16363-76 is 0.9-1.6%; adhesion according to GOST 15140-78 is 1 point; viability of composition free from ammonium phosphates is 6 months; coating does not peel.
