FIELD: thermal cleaning of metal products. SUBSTANCE: plant has housing, furnace chamber with heating devices, muffle with gas discharge holes, offtake with smoke intake chamber connected with muffle by means of downtake gas duct, exhaust pipe and steam line with nozzle for delivery of steam to smoke intake chamber. Muffle has double walls forming gas discharge passages brought in communication with inner space of muffle through its gas escape holes. Housing is provided with bypass passages connecting the gas discharge passages of muffle with exhaust pipe and with furnace chamber. EFFECT: high degree of cleanness of surfaces; ease in operation; reduction of aerosol effluents with flue gases and reduced consumption of power and natural gas. 7 dwg
