FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: furnace has drum with metal insert, loading chamber with smoke discharge duct, smoke cooler and unloading chamber with burners block and gas duct for blowing heat carrier into the drum. The end of the gas duct is provided with hollow cylindrical end piece the interior wall of which and the end face on the side of the drum are perforated, and the exterior wall is provided with two pipes. One of the pipes fixed downstream of the perforated end face (looking in the direction of heat carrier flow) is connected to water delivery pipeline and the other pipe located upstream of the perforated and face is connected to steam delivery pipeline. The smoke cooler carries gas-permeable container with heat resistant chips, and the smoke discharged duct carries the nozzle for blowing steam-air mixture into flue gases.
