FIELD: measurement of nonelectric values by electric methods, conversion of linear translation into voltage proportional to it. SUBSTANCE: transmitter has information ruler with working winding. Active sides of working winding are located along translation axis. Resulting number of conductors of active sides of working winding is proportional to distance from start of counting to center of magnetic circuit moving along it. Magnetic circuit moves along immobile guides which are simultaneously used as single-turn winding for reading of information on position of mobile magnetic circuit on information ruler. Compensation winding is placed on information ruler outside zone of action of magnetic circuit and is placed in series with working winding. Compensation winding diminishes influence of end face part of working winding on to winding for information reading. Since winding for information winding is immobile it decreases possibility of break of its leads. EFFECT: enhanced operational capabilities. 3 dwg
