FIELD: sampling apparatus. SUBSTANCE: this is intended for taking reliable samples of water. Water sampler has cylindrical body with eye-lugs in which holes are made for axles. Also provided are two covers installed for possible pressing against ends of body, and locking-lowering device. Each cover is pivotally connected with end of rocker by means of three spring-biased screws which are turned in cover and located uniformly over circumference of cover. Ball is located in taper-shape recess in cover in middle of positioning of screws. Mated taper-shape recess for ball is made in rocker. Made for springs are cylindrical recesses with holes for free passing of screws. Mated part for body eye-lug is fastened on rocker for pivoted connection of each rocker and body. This mated part can be adjusted by displacement with subsequent fixing in position. Holes are provided in eye-lugs to accommodate axle. Locking-lowering device is made up of two shackles which are pivotally connected to each other. Each shackle is pivotally joined with one of rockers. Locking-lowering device has strip with two holes which is mounted on axle between shackles. Also provided is extension spring attached to one of holes in strip. There is means for adjustment of spring tension. Extension spring together with means for adjustment of its tension are installed inside pipe. Pipe is welded to two holes in body which are made in middle of its cylindrical portion and are located diametrically opposite. Locking-lowering device has two ropes. One of ropes is intended for simultaneous opening of two covers, other rope is intended for lowering and lifting of water sampler. First rope is connected with strip through its hole and is reeved freely through opening in bush. Bush is located in upper part of water sampler and is rigidly connected with its body by means of two elongated strips. Each elongated strip is fastened atop to bush, and at bottom strip is fastened to upper part of pipe. Second rope is rigidly connected with body through bush. Protrusion with hole is provided at top of bush in its end for attachment of rope. Aforesaid embodiment of water sampler ensures taking samples of liquid at point of its lowering and prevents penetration of fouled liquid from upper layers. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 2 dwg
