LOCK FOR JOINING AND LOCKING IN OF DOOR WINGS POSITIONED ONE AFTER ANOTHER (MODIFICATIONS) Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC E05C7/02 

FIELD: the door lock is applicable for reliable closing of the apartment having a door with two wings positioned one after another.

SUBSTANCE: the lock provides for locking of two door wings not only from the outside, but by hand from the inside of the room. The lock consists of two parts. The first part of the lock is located on the outer door wing and has a rotary cylindrical body of a standard lock installed inside the body and coupled to the power nut of a screw pair with the aid of an intermediate bush. The second part of the lock is positioned on the inner door wing and has a power threaded rod, which can be turned and set by hand in the inoperative position, and which is installed inside the other body. The power nut is screwed on this rod at opening and closing of the lock from the outside of the door wing. The lock may be provided with a detachable power threaded rod inserted at closing of the room from the inside in the provided hole on the door wing and at rotation of it by screwing in the power nut fastened on the outer door wing near the first power nut.

EFFECT: the power threaded rod installed inside the rotary body may provide simultaneous closing of the room from the inside.
