FIELD: earth-moving machines; may be used in earth-moving operations. SUBSTANCE: tooth unit includes tooth point with protruding ears conjugating with respective recesses in adapter to transmit force from tooth point to adapter. Tooth point includes two opposite ears, each ear has opposite edge surfaces located at an angle to each other. Two opposite ears of tooth point are conjugated with two respective opposite recesses made in adapter. Two opposite recesses in adapter have in similar manner two opposite edge surfaces located at an angle to each other and coming in contact with opposite surfaces of edges of two opposite ears. Such design prevents displacement in outward direction of two opposite ears with respect to adapter. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 10 cl, 4 dwg
