FIELD: compositions for killing of gas and gas-condensate wells with formation pressure below the hydrostatic head. SUBSTANCE: emulsion for well killing contains hydrocarbon fluid, emulsifying agent KSSB and water. Introduced additionally are calcium chloride, chemically precipitated chalk, potassium bichromate with the following amount of components, wt.vol%: hydrocarbon fluid, for instance, gas condensate, 17-32; emulsifying agent, 5-13; calcium chloride, 16-24; chemically precipitated chalk, 3-9; potassium bichromate, 0.4-1.3; water, the balance.
