GEAR FOR DUST SUPPRESSION IN FACE CLEARANCE AND IN PLACES OF ITS GENERATION Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed gear has body with working cylinder, pipe-line with injectors spraying water and dust suppression mechanism composed of spring-loaded piston with sealing rings and rod with washer and meniscus attached to it and mounted for reciprocating motion. Meniscus interacts with internal arm of rocker which external arm interacts with rod of spring-loaded valve whose rod carries dog that interacts with dog attached to hinge. Service water is sprayed by injectors arranged over pipe-line. Each injector is fitted with valve controlled by spring-loaded screw which nut is put on bracket and which guide is arranged on external arm of rocker.
