FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method consists in limiting of needle relative movements by fixation due to forced bending. The latter is obtained by application of bending force till needle reaches stable balanced state within range of elastic deformations with simultaneous basing. Needle holder has two blades provided with spur rack and hinge-connected through axle. Blades are also provided with jaws having transverse hollows in form of periodic profiles positioned opposite to each other. One jaw is fitted with projection and the other, with groove. In process of joining, projection enters groove, and transverse hollows form slits for arrangement of surgical needle. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of needle fixation, reduced traumaticity. 4 cl, 11 dwg
