FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: machine has housing, swinging wheelhead and locator plate 14 which is mounted on bracket through device of its limited turn to the right or left-hand position relative to plane of sharpening. Plate 14 is provided with locating members; one locating member is made in form of bush 18 having retainer 19 coaxial with it with hold-down 20 between them. Plate 14 has at least one hole in area of bush. Angular turn device of plate 144 is formed by curvilinear surfaces 21 and 22 made on bracket and on plate 144. Curvilinear surface 21 of bracket has at least one slot 23 oriented crosswise relative to it. Retainer 19 is additionally provided with axle 244 passing through hole in plate 14 and slot 23; axle 244 has plate 25 engageable with outer curvilinear surface 26 of bracket 13.
