FIELD: tyre industry; manufacture of cross-ply pneumatic tyres for trucks, buses, trailer trains and farm machinery. SUBSTANCE: pneumatic tyre has breaker, carcass made of two or more layers of polyamide or anide cord whose threads are arranged over equator at angle of 40-65 degrees relative to meridian direction, bead rings, tread consisting of sides and cap. Cap is made of two layers of rubber: upper and lower ones. Upper layer of tread cap is made of rubber whose elongation at rupture is 450-600%, and conventional stress at elongation of 300% is 7-12 MPa. Lower layer of tread cup is made of more soft and elastic rubber whose elongation at rupture is 600-800%, and conventional stress at elongation of 300% is 3-6 MPa.
