FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: wheel pair has axle with replaceable wheels fitted on it; they have elongated parts of hubs with circular slots on outer surface directed towards each other. End sections of hubs have splines thrown into engagement with splines on hubs fitted immovably on axle. Axle has two subhubs located between fixed hubs. Brake disks are immovably fitted on subhubs. Each fixed hub is made in form of bushes inserted one into other. EFFECT: automatic change of distance between wheels at complete avoidance of manual operations and additional mechanisms required for adjustment of parts of braking system. 2 cl, 3 dwg
