SUBSTANCE: bearing unit consists of body, shaft, bearings carrying radial load and two thrust bearings installed on one shaft. Main axial load is distributed through a distance sleeve and flexible pads to two thrust bearings. Flexible pads ensure simultaneous operation of bearings and distribution of load proportional to coefficient of serviceability of bearing due to area of pads.
