FIELD: magnetic separation of highly magnetic ores. SUBSTANCE: drum type magnetic separator includes bath, non-magnetic drum having end covers and installed inside bath with possibility of rotation around stationary axle. Drum also includes casings with bearing assemblies for supporting it on stationary axle, arranged inside drum magnetic system and drive unit. The last has supporting flange secured to reduction gear body. Drum axle rests upon frame through housing of drive unit arranged inside drum. EFFECT: simplified maintenance and repairing of separator, its increased service life period. 1 dwg
